It is with great sadness that I inform that... Monday night, March 24, 2008, we lost our very near, dear, and personal friend... Lynn Schmoll. He was the 'President' and a long time member of the 'Starlight Cruisers', a beloved friend, and a well-known active member of our South Florida car show community. He will be GREATLY MISSED by his loving family and many friends. (last known photo I have of Lynn taken at Sunday's Riverwalk car show) "Cruise in peace Lynn"... -Keith |

We know you are in good hands Lynn because Jim, Deb, Rick and Lou were there to greet you with open arms. When we hear thunder everyone will know it's the heavenly Starlight Cruisers revving their engines. -Love Thom and Barb Brown ******** LYNN HAD EXPRESS TO ME, THAT AT HIS FUNERAL HE WANTS EVERYONE WHO ATTENDS TO PLEASE BRING THEIR HOT ROD OR CLASSIC CAR. THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF PARKING. AS FOR THOSE THAT ARE ATTENDING THE DAYTONA SPRING SHOW .. PLEASE TRY TO MAKE IT BACK IN TIME!! -Keith
I worked with Lynn years ago at
Bellsouth. He was a nice person and great fun. My condolence to
his family and car family I know he will be greatly missed!
What a great guy we have lost. Lynn
was always such a nice man and he will be missed. I worked with
Lynn at BellSouth and even though I haven't seen him for some time,
I will miss him. Much sympathy to Carol, family and all his
friends.
I WAS VERY SORRY TO HEAR
OF LYNN'S PASSING. I WORKED WITH LYNN AND CAROLE AT BELLSOUTH AND
THEY BOTH WERE GREAT PEOPLE. I KNOW THAT |

From Russ Gagliano: Hey Lou Torres........... I'm going to miss....... Your Red truck at car shows & cruise nights Your primered truck at car shows & cruise nig Your beer tap gear shifter Your beer cooler in back of your truck Having a cold one with you Your long hair braid Your e-mails everyday Your crazy humor Your friendship I'm going to miss.......you !!!!! Rest in peace my friend.....God Bless !!!! -Russ G From JJ: I mourn the loss our friend Lou. Hearing about him being stricken, and finally his passing, I stood off and took a long look at life and the values I found in it: I saw a paradox, that he who loses his life does indeed find it. The more you give, the more you get. The less you think of yourself, the more of a person you become. This is how I remember Lou Torres. From: Cassandra Tkacenko (Lou Torres's Niece): I just want too thank everyone for everything that you have done for our family with our tragic loss. My uncle was a wonderful and caring man who could always make you laugh. As I can see from the many photos his sense of humor was seen by all. Thank you again for all of the support my uncle will truly be missed! From: Bambi Torres: I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for coming to the Memorial Car show for the Love of my life Lou Torres. Even with the storm you were there. Lou & I shared a lifetime of 35 years together in love. I am so blessed to have him as my husband & I will love him until my dying breath, until I am back with him again cause he always said to me " It's only you & me kid"! Ditto honey....I love You...See Ya. Bambi Torres |
