Dear Russ (and car show supporters),
I have so much to be thankful for this year. Not least of all, our supporters. You are the backbone of the vital scientific work we are doing to help people prevent and survive cancer. We are supported almost entirely by individuals like you from across the country. You are the key to unlocking the mysteries of this disease.
As we head into 2009, we must be sure that funding for essential cancer research doesn’t dwindle. That’s why your support is more important than ever.
The work we are doing is so important to the health of all of our loved ones. I hope you will consider supporting us, and help us keep the momentum going.

Today the American Institute for Cancer Research:
- Funds research on the relationship of nutrition, physical activity and weight management to cancer risk;
- Interprets the accumulated scientific literature in the field; and
- Educates people about choices they can make to reduce their chances of developing cancer.
